Edible prints delivery and returnsYou are given an option for the postage method which suits your requirements, whichever option is selected the print will not leave our premises until the following working day unless otherwise agreed. A working day is Mon-Fri (excl bank holidays)Unofficially, to ease backlogs, payments made before 1.00pm weekday are usually dispatched same day, however, this is not to be relied upon as we have other cake order commitments to fulfil first, therefore our first statement about being dispatched the next working day applies for the understanding of dispatch times. We do not print or post on Wednesdays due to our local post office being closed. The package will not fit through most UK standard letter boxes therefore ensure that someone will be in the accept the package as we will not be accountable for items returned to a local postal depotRoyal Mail UK standard post can take anything upto 4 working days (5 including the dispatch day) to arriveRoyal Mail UK special delivery is a weekday service only which will be delivered before 1.00pm. This is a signed for service which Royal mail will NOT leave with anyone elseRoyal mail Airmail Europe can take anything between 4-7 days. For postal services which have not arrived within the permissible period you will need to contact your local post office or sorting depot personally. We will not be accountable for short / late delivered packages. Items are classed “LOST” after 15 working days have elapsedItems delivered with packaging damaged via standard or parcel services you will have to seek compensation directly from Royal mail yourselfEdible printing is a personal item and therefore will not be accepted for return |
Using your edible printsThe invoice will contain basic instructions on the removal of the icing from its transport sheetIn cases of damp weather or humid conditions the icing will become more difficult to remove and the procedures listed on the invoice and our website will overcome these difficultiesClients who store their icing within premises with high humidity will have a greater difficulty to remove. (High humidity is indicative of premises with cold conditions (under 22 degrees C), open fireplaces, condensation on windows, steamy kitchens etcToo much water content on the cake application will make the icing more fragile and colours runThe icing is to be applied to sugar paste (fondant icing) only, we offer no guarantees if applied to anything other |
A summary of the limitationsPrinted fondant is for use by professional cake makers. The icing is unlike the rice paper images found in a packet of character cake mix sets on supermarket shelves. This product is not for the faint hearted. The icing is shipped and stored on plastic backing sheets. The icing is hygroscopic, therefore rain or damp atmosphere will affect the ease of which these can be removed from the plastic sheet.Storage and when planning to use needs to be performed in an atmosphere where the humidity level is below 50%. Anything higher and you will have difficulty removing from the plastic sheet.Strong dark colours and night time shots increase the moisture content of the icing and make removal more difficult.Pinks and purple colours cannot be replicated with food colouring and print with reddish tonesBy making a payment for edible prints you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. You are requested to acknowledge, read and have understood these conditions at point of payment. If for any reason you do not agree with anything above then we request that you do not place the order |
