Debbie made her first cruise liner after a request from a regular client who has had several cakes over the past few years. The cake was commissioned to celebrate the clients parents retirement, and for their retirement they were going on a cruise.The cake ended up being 24 inches in length and 8 inches high, it was a double sandwiched vanilla madeira sponge and the upper sections had to be supported due to the weight.Since displaying the first one, we have had several other requests, which have resulting in the following:All of the cakes are 24 inches long and all serve approx 120 portions.The latest addition was a version of the P&O Ventura |
