Cakescrazy was started by Debbie Fernandez who has been designing and creating cakes in the Bracknell, Warfield, Winkfield, and Ascot area since 1997.

It started with Debbie’s daughter’s first birthday when she needed a cake but had little time to organise a special one for the occasion. Even the local supermarkets had little to offer so with a some encouragement and guidance from a friend Debbie set about making her decorative cake debut.

After creating that first masterpiece Debbie received many positive comments from family and friends who started asking her to make cakes for them, and from that occasion it all started.

Two years at collage Debbie gained “City & Guilds" for "Sugarpaste design" and "Sugarflowers". She is a member of the "British Sugarcraft Guild" a professional body to raise the standards of cake decorating, and she has featured several times for BBC local radio discussing small business and cake craft topics.

Her biggest thanks goes to “As if by Magic”, a local party shop in Ascot where several cake requests turned into several orders to accompany their party organising services.

From those early days and even today, Debbie Fernandez, and Cakescrazy has been built on nothing but “word of mouth”. Our greatest reassurance is speaking to repeat clients new and old, near and far, their positive comments, and the recommendations they have passed to their families and friends.

Our mission is to ensure that every cake is flawless in finish and equally matched by its taste. There is a limit to the number of cakes we produce and under no circumstances do we exceed this. Quality must always come before quantity, and every cake made is still finished by Debbie herself.

Glass smooth ripple free finish and excellent taste are our most important goals, but even more important is to ensure every customer is “completely satisfied” and happy to keep coming back time and time again. Without any of these objectives we would have no business, something many tend to forget.
