If you get no ideas from the galleries then please give me either a call, an email, or use the message form to contact me, where I will be more than happy to discuss something more appropriate for your celebrationThe gallery pictures are just a small sample of previously produced cakes and are for illustrative and inspirational purposes only. Not every cake I have made is there so you are not restricted to just ordering something from the gallery, but, if you like something from one gallery and something from another gallery then you can always mix n match, or dare I say if you have seen something from another cake website then you can always email the URL where I will be more than pleased to take a look.Remember! It’s your cake, it’s your celebration, therefore, it’s your choice!!

Ordering notice requiredI usually require at least two weeks notice for sponge cakes. Fruit cakes need maturing so therefore I require three months advance notice. However to avoid disappointment order your cake as early as you can as I always have bookings running into the next twelve months and can regularly be fully booked 5 or 6 weeks in advance.I only produce a limited number of cakes and will never exceed this limit, I never sacrifice quality over quantity. A glass smooth ripple free finish and excellent taste are my most important goals.Cakes required at a short notice unfortunately cannot always be accommodated, however, contact me ASAP as sometimes I can have a vacant slot available in my schedule.
DeliveryI am happy to deliver and setup your cake at your event within the local surrounding area free of charge upto 8 miles on orders over £40.Outside of the 8 mile free zone £0.45+ vat per mile (£0.54 including vat), door to doorThere is no delivery charge for wedding cake delivery and setup within 15 miles
Packaging and HandlingAll cakes are presented on a 12mm cake board and packed in a standard grade cake box
PricingDue to the numerous combinations of size, finish, shape and complexity it is impossible to standardise a price. The majority of the price is made up of the time taken on decoration and finishing details. An estimated price can be quoted during an enquiry. A fully confirmed price will be given at the time of order.Variations or changes to the order by the customer after the confirmed price will necessitate re-quoting.For prices on my standard printed cupcakes visit here
NutsHaving a nut allergy sufferer in my household I understand the importance of not having any nut product at home. Therefore I never use or add any nut product to any sponge cakes. Occasionally I use additional ingredients from outside suppliers and I ensure these contain no added nuts or nut products, however, most suppliers make mention that due to manufacturing processes traces of nut may be present.Fruit cakes ALWAYS contain nuts, unless otherwise specified
Variations in the final appearanceEach cake displayed has been produced by hand, replicating any cake from a gallery picture will be as closely matched as possible but slight variations may be present
FlavouringsAll cakes are individually baked to clients requirements using one of the following flavoursFruit CakeVanilla Madeira spongeChocolate Madeira spongeLemon Madeira spongeTiered cakes can have an individual flavour for each layerI do not produce egg free or gluten free cakes
FillingsFor sponge cakes I use one of the following choices of fillingsVanilla buttercreamChocolate buttercreamLemon buttercreamJam or Lemon curd at a customers request. There are many other coverings and fillings available which are too long to be listed here, these can be discussed at the time of an enquiry or order, for example:SugarpasteRoyal IcingPiped buttercream toppingChocolate Curls (milk, white or dark)Chocolate Panels (milk, white or dark) etc etc
Just decoration serviceI have earned an enviably high reputation for producing unique and bespoke high quality individually made cakes to each customers request which naturally I would like to maintain. Not wanting to put my name to anything other than what I have created I will not decorate shop purchased or other peoples cakes. However, I can create or re-decorate something from the top tier of a stored wedding cake providing I am happy with the quality of the cake, how it has been stored/preserved, and its current condition.
