Information
If you get no ideas from the galleries then please give me either a call, an email, or use the message form to contact me, where I will be more than happy to discuss something more appropriate for your celebration The gallery pictures are just a small sample of previously produced cakes and are for illustrative and inspirational purposes only. Not every cake I have made is there so you are not restricted to just ordering something from the gallery, but, if you like something from one gallery and something from another gallery then you can always mix n match, or dare I say, if you have seen something from another cake website then you can always email the URL where I will be more than pleased to take a look. Remember! It’s your cake, it’s your celebration, therefore, it’s your choice!!

How to order |
You can place an order by either telephone or email. Unfortunately, due to me turning away genuine requests due to time wasters, I require payment as follows:- For orders placed with less than two weeks notice a full payment is required immediately For orders placed with more than two weeks notice a deposit of 50% is required within three days of order providing the three days still remains over the two week minimum, or when agreed The remaining balance is due on the day of collection. For cakes being delivered and set-up at an event the remaining balance is due 2 days prior to delivery. You can pay either the deposit or the total amount by posting a cheque made payable to “CakesCrazy” or pay in cash. I also accept deposits and full payments via PayPal by clicking here I do not chase clients who have not made agreed deposits within time. The slot is just filled and the order cancelled. Any deposit or full advance payments which arrive late will be returned un-cashed.

Ordering notice required
|
I usually require at least two weeks notice for sponge cakes. Fruit cakes need maturing so therefore I require three months advance notice. To avoid disappointment order your cake as early as you can, in fact the earlier the better as I always have bookings running into the next twelve months. I only produce a limited number of cakes and will never exceed this as I would never sacrifice quality over quantity. The finish and taste are my most important goals, therefore I am usually fully booked 5-6 weeks in advance. Cakes required at a short notice unfortunately cannot always be accommodated, however, contact me ASAP as sometimes a vacant slot becomes available in my schedule.

Packaging and Handling |
All cakes are presented on a 12mm cake board and packed in standard grade cake box

|
Pricing |
Due to the numerous combinations of size, finish, shape and complexity it is impossible to standardise a price. The majority of the price is made up of the time taken on decoration and finishing details. Don’t worry they’re not that expensive!! An estimated price can be quoted during an enquiry. A fully confirmed price will be given at the time of order. Variations or changes to the order by the customer after the confirmed price will necessitate re-quoting.

Nuts |
Having a nut allergy sufferer in my household I understand the importance of not having any nut product at home. Therefore I never use or add any nut product to any sponge cakes. Occasionally I use additional ingredients from outside suppliers and I ensure these contain no added nuts or nut products, however, most suppliers make mention that due to manufacturing processes traces of nut may be present. Fruit cakes ALWAYS contain nuts, unless otherwise specified

Just decoration service |
I have earned an enviably high reputation for producing unique and bespoke high quality individually made cakes to each customers request which naturally I would like to maintain. Not wanting to put my name to anything other than what I have created I will not decorate shop purchased or other peoples cakes. However, I can create or re-decorate something from the top tier of a stored wedding cake providing I am happy with the quality of the ingredient mix, how the cake has been stored/preserved, and its current condition.
