Christening cakes take all forms of shape, from traditional christening cakes to novelty christening cakes, with toppers or wired explosions.

The most common decorative toppings are booties,teddy bear’s or toy box.

The most decorative christening cakes are ones in plain white with a blue or pink trim, or ones which feature pastel colours.

Over the last few years there has been a trend moving away from the more traditional christening cake leaning towards either christening cakes with characters, castles etc, and another new trend is christening cupcake towers with a large centre piece christening cake on the top.
